DEE DEE THAI FOOD

"Thai food just like how we serve it back home."

At Dee Dee Thai Food, our name says it all—“Dee” means “good” in Thai, and we aim to go beyond good. We’re passionate about sharing the rich, authentic flavours of Thailand right here in High Barnet, where we've proudly been serving our community since 2020.

Our food is cooked with heart and tradition, using fresh, high-quality ingredients. Many of these come straight from Thailand, including Thai chillies, aubergines, green long beans, galangal, lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves, and fingerroot—just to name a few. Every dish is a tribute to the recipes and cooking styles we grew up with.

Behind each plate is a team of Thai chefs with over 20 years of experience, dedicated to crafting bold, flavourful dishes that bring a taste of home to your table. Since opening, we’ve been humbled by the amazing support and glowing feedback across our social media platforms.

We’re proud to be a part of the Barnet community and look forward to continuing to serve you the best Thai food we can—made with care, tradition, and love.
OUR MENU
Green Curry
Green Curry is one of the most popular Thai cuisines in the world. The richness of the coconut milk plus the spiciness of green chillies and Thai herbs is the reason why everyone loves it. It's not too sweet and not too spicy which is very good with steamed rice.
Pad Krapow
Stir fried with basil leaves (or Pad Krapow in Thai language) is a well- known dish and very easy to prepare. Holy basil (called bai krapow) is the star of the dish and stir-fried along with a source of protein, garlic, chilli peppers and other typical Thai flavourings.
Pad Thai
Pad Thai, the most famous dish in Thailand is a dish of stir-fried rice noodles with eggs, vegetables and tofu in a sauce of tamarind, fish, dried shrimp, garlic, red chilli pepper and sugar. Some of the ingredients are provided on the side as condiments, including red chilli pepper, lime wedges and peanuts.
Tom Yum Kung
Tom Yum Kung, a sour-flavoured spicy shrimp soup, tom yum kung's name comes from three Thai words. "Tom" means boiled, "yum" is a sour and spicy Thai salad and "kung" means prawn. Aside from the prawns, the primary ingredients of tom yum kung are the herbs and spices that give the soup its distinctive flavour.
